摘要
The fate of the internal fluids after coalescence of droplets is very important and has been investigated rarely. In this paper, we report simulations of mixing processes after coalescence of binary momentum-less droplets by using a front tracking method.Firstly, the validation of the method used here was testified, and then the effects of viscosity of droplets, size ratio and properties of ambient phase on mixing were investigated. The results qualitatively agree well with previous experimental observations.
