This article analyzes the application features of static-heating type residential heat pump water heater,introduces efficiency evaluation methodologies on this type of water heater both in the USA and China. With comparing the difference as well as the actual testing result based on two evaluation methodologies,the article intends to provide some references for the future updating efficiency evaluation methodology in China.
