Through the practical cases of the field of pictorial communication,the searching methods of utilizing China patent full-text database or China patent abstract database or the combination of these two databases aiming at the characteristics of different cases are discussed,and different searching methods are compared,and accurate and fast searching methods for different cases in the field of pictorial communication are consequently acquired.
