摘要
1991年加州大学出台了《卡尔·皮斯特报告》。该报告受欧内斯特·博耶多元学术思想的启发,提出了尊重和激励教师多样化智力成果的学术评价建议,引发了教职员工对研究型大学学术评价政策的大讨论,并在一定程度上改变了加州大学系统教师评价与奖励的政策导向,促进了多元学术思想在全美高校的推广。
University of California introduced Karl Pister Report in 1991.Enlightened by Ernest L.Boyer's idea of multi-scholarship,the report put forward several suggestions on academic evaluation which respected and encouraged diversified intellectual achievements.The report triggered a big discussion among faculty and staff on the policies of academic evaluation in research universities,changed the appraisal and incentive policy of faculty to a certain extent,and promoted the popularization of the idea of multi-scholarship in American universities.
