Through tireless efforts by Jewish writers of many generations,Jewish American Literature has made considerable progress and received increasing attention in the world literature. With the development of American modernization,contemporary Jewish American Literature is paying more and more attention to American national identity via lots of strategies,such as American cultural identity,American historical identity,American social system and ideological identity. The construction of the American national identity in contemporary Jewish American literature is an important strategy by the Jewish American writers to lead the Jewish American minority to overcome dilemmas and move on,and it is significant to the development of Jewish American minority.
