侗寨竹坪"教育现象"是黔中大地民族民众向学、民族社会办学的一个文化特例,它较为有力地说明了各少数民族都有发展教育、建立学校、培养人才、全面提高民族人口素质的强烈愿望和能力,教育的发展是一个地区民族文化得以传承创新、社会经济得以进步发展的推进器和促进力。而教育的发展,尤其是基础教育的发展,不仅需要政府的重视、支持,更需要民众对教育重要性的自觉认识、教师的辛勤耕耘和社会各界的关心、帮助。只有形成全民重视教育、上下齐抓教育的时候,教育才会健康发展,人才才会持续的脱颖而出,社会经济才会持续健康和谐发展。

The'education phenomenon' in the Dong Village of Zhuping is a special cultural case of the nationality mass motivation to learn and schooling running by nationality society,indicating that each national majority has a strong wish and the ability to develop education,set up schools,foster talents and raise the overall quality of its population and that educational development is the propeller and promoter of the national cultural inheritance and innovation and social economic development in any area. On the other hand,the development of education,especially of basic education,depends not only on the government' s attention and support, but also on the massive consciousness of the importance of education,teachers' hard work and supports from all sectors of society. Only when the people realize the importance of education and devoted efforts from the mass and government are mobilized,can education develop healthily,outstanding talents be fostered continuously and social economy continues to develop healthily and harmoniously.
