With the spread of Buddhism to the East countries,Chinese version of Buddhist Scriptures appeared.The subject matter and artistic imagination of Buddhist literature exerted great influence on the literary creation of that time.The gremlin novels drew inspirations from Buddhism so that the gremlin novels make great progresses in terms of content and artistic expression.The paper investigates the influence of Buddhism on the novel creation on the basis of Buddhism concepts and the subject matter of Buddhism.
