A Preliminary Analysis of the Development Path of Social Psychology from the Comparative Perspective

主流的北美社会心理学在科学方法和研究视角迅速发展的同时,吸收欧洲社会心理学关注群体研究的特点,促进了社会心理学走向新的繁荣。当前中国社会心理学正处于既在学术阵营中边缘化又在社会实践中失语的尴尬境地。面对国际和国内的双重挑战,中国社会心理学应抓住亚洲社会心理学以本土及文化心理学为特色,向西方主流社会心理学突围的历史机遇,充分发掘和培养自己的文化自觉,密切关注中国在急剧社会变迁过程中发生的重大社会心理现象和问题,以本土化推动国际化,在理论建构、学科与学术共同体建设、国际合作等方面进行实质性突破。最终能为中国社会发展服务的同时,也能为国际社会心理学发展做出自己的独特贡献。

Along with the rapid development of scientific approaches and research perspectives,social psychology in North America reaches a new boom,absorbing the European feature of social psychology characterized by paying attention to group study.Social psychology in China nowadays,however,is embarrassed by marginalization in the academic circle and loss of discourse in social practice.Now social psychology in Asia is breaking through the western mainstream social psychology by indigenous psychology and cultural psychology,and this offers an opportunity for the breakthrough of social psychology in China in the face of double challenges at home and abroad.Social psychology in China should explore and cultivate its own cultural consciousness,pay close attention to important social psychology phenomenon and problems in rapid social changes,promote internationalization by localization,and achieve substantial breakthrough in theory building,discipline and academic community building,and international cooperation.Thus,social psychology in China can be of service to the social development of China and make unique contribution to social psychology of the world.
