The Reform Process in Myanmar since 2010——Achievement,Challenge and Outlook

从2010年起,缅甸在军人集团主导下开始了自上而下的改革,改革分为政治、经济、行政三个步骤,其中政治改革是战略基础,经济改革是重点。缅甸的改革取得明显成就,但也面临着一些挑战。随着改革的推进,缅甸与美国的关系迅速改善,中国在缅甸的影响减弱,由此引发了人们对缅美关系和缅中关系的各种猜测。

Since 2010,Myanmar began top- down reforms headed by the military bloc. The Reforms are divided into three steps,the political reform,the economic reform and the administrative reform. The political reform is the strategic foundation,while the economic reform is the key. The reform of Myanmar achieved remarkable successes,but isalso facing some challenges. With the advancement of reform,the relationships between Myanmar and US has been improving rapidly,the influence of China in Myanmar is weakening,which caused all sorts of guesses about the Myanmar- US and Myanmar- Chinese relationships.
