义利问题是中国传统伦理思想史中的一个重大问题,宋代由于特定的历史发展背景使得义利问题更加凸显和复杂。宋代义利之辩主要聚焦于情欲问题、理欲问题和公私问题等内容。从本体论的角度重新辩护论证儒家"义以为上"的主导价值导向和在与功利思潮的论争中将理论进一步深化是此阶段义利之辩的典型特征。

One of the major problems during the history of Chinese traditional ethics is the problem of righteousness and profit,Due to the specifically historical development background in the Song Dynasty,the problem of righteousness and profit is more highlighted and complicated. The debate on righteousness and profit in the Song Dynasty involves sexual passion,principle and desire,the public and the private,etc. This period is typical characterized by the argumentation for the Confucianist dominant value orientation of 'righteousness first'from the perspective of ontology,and by further deepening the theory in the debate against the utilitarian thoughts.
