对休谟“观念论”的若干思考

Some Thoughts on Hume's“Idealism”

休谟的观念论是其人性论的基础,而观念论的主要研究对象是印象和观念。休谟正是对这两种不同知觉的探索才确定了人性论的第一条法则,即一切观念都是从相似的印象来的。但是,在休谟看似坚实的第一法则的基础上,却也存在一些理论困难。观念与印象是否属于同一级别的类,观念是否印象之后的摹本,观念间的关系是否一种新的观念,在休谟的理论内部并没有确切的回答。

Hume’s idealism ,w hose main research subjects are impressions and conceptions ,is the basis of his theory of human nature .Hume explores the two different perceptions and determines the first rule of the theory of human nature-all the conceptions come from similar impressions .But there are some theoretical difficulties on the seemingly solid basis of the first rule .T here are no definite answers in Hume’s theory to such problems as whether conceptions and impressions be-long to the same level in category ,w hether conceptions are the facsimilis behind impressions and w hether the interrelationship of conceptions is a kind of new ideas .
