《京师法律学堂笔记》的诞生及历史地位

Birth and historical role of The Note of Peking Imperial Law School

清末京师法律学堂的建立为中国近代法律教育开启了新的篇章,《京师法律学堂笔记》以学堂所授相关课程讲义为蓝本加以编纂,一定程度上反映了当时法律教育的面貌。原京师法律学堂学员安徽宿松的熊元翰、熊元楷、熊元襄及其他安徽法学社社员为这套丛书的编纂付出了很大的心血。《京师法律学堂笔记》在出版时还遭遇了侵权,几经波折才得以面世。这套丛书在传播新的法律用语、普及基本法律理念和构建近代法学学科体系等方面,发挥了巨大作用。

The foundation of the Peking Imperial Law School in the late of Qing dynasty opened a new age for China’s modern legal education.Note of Peking Imperial Law School by editor Xiong was compiled by regarding related course handouts in the school as blueprints and reflected the state of legal education at that time to certain extent. People who have made a great contribution to the publishing of this book include: students of the Peking Imperial Law School named Xiong Yuanhan, Xiong Yuankai and Xiong Yuanxiang and members of Anhui Law Study Society. In spite of that, Note of Peking Imperial Law School by editor Xiong has gone through a copyright infringement when being published. In short, this book had gone through many twists and turns before it was able to be passed on. This series has played a significant role in the dissemination of legal language, the popularization of new basic legal idea and the construction of modern law discipline system.
