With the extensive use of 9# and 15# coal as fuel in SHL boilers, the ash deposition in heated area of boiler has become increasingly common, which not only affects the thermal efficiency of boilers and results in a waste of energy, but also threatens the safety in running the boiler. The hazards, causes and prevention measures of ash deposition in running SHL boilers are introduced.
