Since academy of governance published journals, the competitiveness and influence has made considerable development, and produced good social and economic benefits, but compared to other professional fields, there is still much room for improve-ment. The competitiveness and influence are the important factors. The flowing are the main goals for research. Creating academic atmosphere is guided by public opinion;Strengthening administrative management is based on the prominent discipline character-istic; transforming the achievements highlight the characteristics of scientific research; im-proving academic quality represents scholars' characteristics; developing the window role shows the features of colleges; stressing competitiveness and influence is based on editori-al characteristics. Competitiveness and influence of Journal are persistent, temporal and directional.
