Road information extraction in remote sensing images is a hot and difficult research topic in the field of remote sensing,with great application value in earthquake emergency. Firstly,the main remote sensing image road information extraction algorithms are summarized. Subsequently,the current status of research and lack in earthquake emergency applications were discussed. Finally,the application prospects and the need for further advancing work of remote sensing image road information in earthgake emergency were analyzed.
