摘要
早期的大学教师作为教士,充当世界的解释者和立法者。他们从圣洁的"师长"走向社会特权阶层并获得普通民众的认同。现代欧洲大学保留了早期大学的优秀学术传统,教师的社会上层身份得到延续。美国大学教育变革与市场深度衔接,在日益增强的大学资助者的控制面前,教师由神圣的知识权威走向世俗的知识商人,由传统学究走向现代经济人,由尊崇走向失落。大学教师的权威者、立法者身份被解构,身份认同陷入困境。
As priests,early university teachers acted as interpreter and lawmakers of the world.They moved from the status of holy teachers towards the status of social privileged class,gaining common people's recognition.The good academic traditions of early universities are reserved in modern European universities.The upper class status is continued.American university education reform is coherent with markets,the teachers trend towards secular intellectual businessman from sacred knowledge authority,towards modern economic people from traditional pedant,towards loss of teachers' respect and worship in front of the growing control of university sponsors.The university teacher identity of authority and lawmakers is deconstructed.Then comes self-identity dilemma of the modern teacher.
