As the popularity of economic evaluation alongside randomized controlled trials,the calculation of Quality AdjustedLife Years(QALYs) were also become more and more widely used and discussed in randomized controlled trials. It discussed the cal-culation method of QALYs in trial-based cost utility,emphasized the importance of estimating QALYs by controlling baseline level ofutility under certain condition and introduced two main adjustment methods.
