The Motivation and Practice of the Rise of Classical Aesthetics Research in the 20th Century's China

20世纪的中国古典美学研究肇始于80年代,在复杂的历史语境下美学学科化的努力是其兴起的最基本契机,同时,启蒙现代性语境下的文化寻根思潮,以及若隐若现的权利话语的诉求和影响,起到了至关重要的催化作用。就研究实践而言,对王国维、宗白华的研究形成了最早的研究雏形,并以此为中介,中国古典美学的魅力得以展现,两人的研究方式也构成了后来中国古典美学研究的潜在模式。对王、宗研究之研究,对后来的古典美学研究有重要开启之功。

Chinese classical aesthetics research began in the 1980 s,in an effort to establish the discipline of Chinese aesthetics under the complicated historical context.It was spurred by both the trend of cultural root-seeking against the background of enlightenment modernity and the pursuit of discourse power.In practice,studies on Wang Guowei and Zong Baihua formed the earliest mode of research,which in turn displayed the charm of ancient Chinese aesthetics.The studies had also constituted a potential model for and established a foundation stone for the classical aesthetics research in the years that followed.
