Marginal Narratives by the Female Writers of the New Immigrants in the North America

20世纪七八十年代,随着移民热潮走出国门的北美新移民女作家,由于独特的异域境遇和性别文化身份,以新颖的双重文化叙事视觉和别具一格的跨域创作题材而受到文学界的广泛关注。北美新移民女性在西方主流文化社会中遭遇"边缘化"生存困境,构成了她们在多重"他者"话语下的身份认同危机,但她们又在西方文化环境以及潜在文化冲突中表现出对梦想的执着追求,对文化归宿的深层诉求,对自我重塑的不懈努力。探讨北美新移民女作家作品中的边缘叙事,分析其异域言说呈现的内在意蕴和特殊文化价值,对于当今华文文学的发展具有积极的建设性意义。

Under the background of immigrant wave to the North America in the 70 s and 80 s of 20 th century,and by their peculiar alien experiences and gender cultural identity,some immigrant female writers are attracting extensive attentions worldwide with their innovative double cultural narrative visions and unique cross- cultural writing themes. These new immigrant females experienced the'marginal'living dilemma in the western main stream cultures,which constituted their cultural identity crisis in the situation of multifold 'otherness'tongues. However,in the western cultural environment and the potential cultural conflicts,they demonstrated the persistent pursue to their dreams,the deep appeal to their cultural identity,and the unremitting efforts to their self- reconstruction. It has positives significance for the development of Chinese culture to have a research on the North American new immigrant writers' marginal narratives and analyze the inner implications and peculiar cultural values in their works.
