'Kingcraft' was first proposed systematically by Mencius and it influences later Chinese political thoughts importantly. This article illustrates Mencius' s 'Kingcraft' thought and presents a deeper understanding of it by discussing 'the distinction between Kingcraft and Overbearing', 'doctrine of good human nature' and 'hearts of people'.
