The international understanding education is the theme of contemporary university English teaching, also the inevitable requirement of university English teaching in the new era, the university English teaching is an important way of international understanding education. This paper first discusses the international understanding education connotation and the significance, then discusses the relationship between international understanding education and university English teaching, and finally put forward some concrete methods and strategies of international understanding education in college English teaching.
