With the initial formation of the global village, English has become the language most widely used in the world, is the language of the major activities within the scope of the world, China has strengthened the training of English ability of college students. Mainly reflected in the establishing and strengthening the cultural thinking of English, training English practical application ability. This paper introduces the cultivation of English thinking ability and application ability measures, hoping to provide some reference for English education.
