浅谈高职生英语语用能力的培养

The analysis on cultivating of the vocational students' pragmatic competence

学习一门语言的根本目标就是能够运用该语言进行顺畅的交流和得体的交际。高职院校的学生生源素质相对较低,英语更是他们的薄弱学科,而他们毕业后就要面临踏上社会,独立工作,因此,对于高职院校学生的英语教学目标更应该是培养学生的英语语用能力,而不仅仅是要教给他们英语语法知识。本文论述了培养高职生英语语用能力的必要性,语用能力的内涵,以及培养高职生英语语用能力的途径。

The purpose of learning a language is to be able to communicate smoothly and properly. The quality of the students in vocational college is lower relatively, and English is a poor subject for them. But they must go into society and work independently after graduation, thus the objective of teaching English in vocational college should be to cultivate students' pragmatic competence. The paper describes the necessity of cultivating vocational students' pragmatic competence, the meaning of pragmatic competence and the way of cultivating vocational students' pragmatic competence.
