Research on theory and practice of English songs into English Teaching under the cross-cultural background

该文章在分析当前英语专业综合英语课堂教学现状的基础上,结合多元智能理论中的音乐智能,探讨了一种以大学英语专业学生为中心,把英文歌曲融入大学英语专业综合英语课堂教学的教学实验。该教学实验旨在尽可能地发挥学生的学习潜能、激发学生的英语学习兴趣和扩大目的语的文化摄入量。

This article introduces and discusses a student-centered comprehensive English teaching experiment which applies English songs as part of teaching materials. The experiment is based on the analysis of the current English majors comprehensive English classroom teaching status and combine the concept of ‘music intelligence' in the theory of multiple intelligence. It aims to maximize the learning potential of students, arouse students' interest in learning English and expand students' cultural intake of the target language.
