Idiom, with its distinctive linguistic characteristics, is the cream of a language. Different ethnic groups have different ways of talking and thinking owing to their different geological environments, customs and habits, and religious backgrounds. This brings certain difficulties to idioms translation. When translating idioms, we should give enough consideration to the cultural differences of the two languages, adopt proper translating approaches, and transmit semantic information they contain as precisely as possible.
