English teaching is an important component part of the higher vocational education, teachers should realize the importance of English teaching, in the teaching process to change the traditional teaching methods, inspire students' enthusiasm of learning English. This article mainly expounds the current situation of higher vocational college English teaching, also analyzed the concrete measures to cope with the present situation of English teaching in higher vocational colleges.
