The Characteristics and functions of rural environment description in British literature

都说艺术作品是源于生活又高于生活的,许多英国的文学作品中都细腻的、多角度的描绘了主人公的乡村生活经历,让读者透过对主人公乡村生活的阅读了解到了作品所在时期的社会和文化生活特点。本文旨在研究英国文学作品中对乡村生活环境描写的特点,分析其选取特点以及作者如何通过对乡村自然景色的描写来呈现时代特点和塑造人物形象,通过对英国文学作品中对乡村自然环境描写的学习,希望能够对中国文学作品创作起到某些借鉴作用。

Art originates from life and higher than life,many British literary works are multi-angle depicts the leading character's country life experiences,help the reader know the social and cultural life of work's period.In this paper,we study the environment of rural life in British literature,analyze the characteristics of its selection as well as how to through the rural natural scenery description to present characteristic and shape the character image,through British literature in the study of rural natural environment description,provide reference for Chinese literature creation.
