Breeding of‘Gui Pu No.2'—— a new hybrids of downy grape

‘桂葡2号’是广西毛葡萄与美洲种酿酒葡萄杂交后代中选育的酿酒葡萄新品种,粗生易长,花为两性花,平均单穗质量101.5 g,果皮呈紫色至紫黑色,平均可溶性固形物含量16.4%,出汁率为68.2%,果汁紫红色,具有浓厚的山葡萄特有的香气。种植第2年正常开花结果,种植第3年单株产量可达3.36 kg,折合平均产量为13 456.8 kg·hm-2;适宜在南方高温多雨的地区发展。尤其对广西丘陵、山地、石漠化石山等具有较强的适应性。

‘Gui Pu No. 2'is a new wine grape variety,which was selected from the hybrids of Guangxi downy grape and America wine grape. This cultivar is easy to develop into hermaphrodite flower. The single panicle weight was 101.5 g. The soluble solid content was 16.4%. The juice yield reachs 68.2%. The skins is purple-black and juice is purple with heavy aroma of wild grape. This variety can bear fruits next year after planted,and the yield can reach 3.36 kg per plant. That is,13 456.8kg/per ha;It is suitable to cultivate in the south China,especially with strong adaptability to hills and stony mountainous area.
