The Formation, Development and Modernization of Editing Techniques

编辑技术是编辑主体对作品信息进行有效选择、加工、组织、修饰与编排的操作技能,包括编辑理论与编辑业务两个层面。自唐至清,传统编辑技术经历了一个由混沌到明晰、由简单到复杂、由稚嫩而成熟的动态演进过程。在近代科技、社会、文化等因素推动下,传统编辑理念、手段和流程发生了深刻变革,从而获得了新的内涵和外延。

Editing techniques refer to operation skills for effective selection, process, organization, modification and arrangement, which include editing theories and editing affairs. Form the Tang dynasty to Qing dynasty, the traditional editing techniques went through a dynamic process which developed from the chaos, easy and immature state to the clear, complex and mature state. Driven by modern sci-tech, society, culture, etc., the traditional editing concepts, approaches and procedures changed profoundly, and obtained new connotation and extension.
