语用学视角下的翻译研究初探

A Primary Study on the Translation from the Perspective of Pragmatics

语用学是研究交际中的语言,是对语言进行动态的研究,而非从纯语言的角度孤立地进行研究。语用学的理论极具现实性,对翻译学有着十分现实的指导意义。语用学的翻译观认为,翻译的对象不是语言系统本身的意义,而是原作者的交际意图,翻译是一个示意—推理的交际行为和过程。语用翻译主张在翻译中做到语用等效。

Pragmatics is the study of language in communication. It tries to study the language in use but not from the viewpoint of static or isolated language itself. The theory of pragmatics is very practical and therefore becomes significant to the practice of translation. The translation conception of pragmatics believed that the object of translation is not the meaning of the language system itself, but the communicative intension of the original author. Translation is an act of ostensive-inferential communication and pragmatic translation insists on pragmatic equivalent effect in translation.
