大学公共英语课后作业的设计策略与实践

Strategies and Practices of Homework Assignment in College English Teaching

大学公共英语教学在保证课堂教学质量的同时,应努力在课堂之外创造语言实践的机会。课后作业作为课堂教学的延伸和补充是英语教学中不可或缺的重要环节。利用课后作业给予学生更多更好的课外语言实践教学机会,鼓励学生深度思考、扩展阅读、增加写作,搭建教师和学生沟通的桥梁,对于提高大学英语教学质量具有十分重要的作用。笔者结合本人的教学实践提出了关于课后作业的设计策略,供同行们批评参考。

College English teachers are obliged to create extra-curriculum language-practicing opportunities to supplement the effective classroom performance.Homework is an indispensible means of extension and complement and enables college students to practice their English after class:to think deeply,read widely and write extensively.It builds up a communication platform for teachers and college students and therefore helps fulfill the targets of College English teaching.This paper aims to propose some practical strategies in homework assignment,based on the writer’s teaching practices.
