摘要
本文根据英语专业四级考试大纲的要求,对英语新闻文体的结构特点、词汇准备和学生的应试技巧等进行了分析、研究,提出英语教学在英语新闻听力理解能力提高的同时,还应结合一定的考试技巧,才能促进学生对英语新闻文体的进一步了解,并提高学生在英语专业四级考试中新闻听力的应试能力,从而对全面提高大学生英语听力能力有着一定的现实意义和长远帮助。
Based on the requirements of the current Test of English Majors 4,the paper provides an analysis of the structural features of news writing,and gives suggestions on how to make preparations in the areas of vocabulary and testing skills.Considering the main problems in Test of English Majors 4,the author stresses on how to improve students’listen- ing comprehension and achieve a satisfactory performance with the help of the understanding of news writing and the adopting of testing skills.
