Significance and Suggestions to Develop Scientific Research in Private Colleges

针对我国民办高校的科研现状,论述了我国民办高校开展科研的意义,提出民办高校开展科研的建议。从国家角度来看,可从政策上应以引导,经济上加以支持;提高思想意识,认识科研工作的重要性;经费上加大投入;建立科研管理机构,建立健全政策制度;注重人才培养,加强学术队伍建设。

This paper introduces the present situation of scientific research in private colleges in our country, then discusses the significance to develop their scientific research, and finally puts forward the suggestions about how to develop it. From the angle of the whole nation, government can constitute policies to guide and imburse private colleges and leand them from policy, and meanwhile, raise fund to support scientific research, establish special organizations and institutions to manage scientific research, and enhance the capabilities of the staff.
