On Building a Prestigious Law Department Among Non-governmental Colleges and Universities in China

立足江苏及东部地区,辐射中西部地区,面向城乡基层和中小企业,培养复合应用型实务类专门人才;以本科教育为主,以专科教育为辅,争取发展第二学士学位教育,为招收法律硕士研究生积极创造条件;努力提升办学层次,适度扩充招生规模,形成明显特色,逐步做强做大,"十二五"期间跻身全省同类院系前列,并为"十三五"期间走在全国同类院系前列打下坚实基础。

The goal of the Department of Law is to foster all-round practical law talents mainly for grass-roots institutions and small-and middle-sized enterprises in the Jiangsu Province and other parts of East China provinces as well as in the Mid-western regions.The specialty consisting mainly of a 4 years undergraduate program and as a supplement of a 3 years program plans to set up a double bachelor degree program and create conditions for establishing a JM(Juri Master) post-graduate program.The Department attempts to upgrade the level of education by the above efforts as well as the moderate expansion of enrolment size,and the formation of its own special features in order to build a prestigious law department listed highly among the law departments of non-governmental colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province during the 12th Five-year Plan period and ranked as one of top departments of non-governmental colleges and universities in China during the 13th Five-year Plan.
