This paper mainly analyses the relation between teaching and research in teaching and research type university and proves that scientific research and teaching can not be separated in the university,teaching is the driving force for teachers engaged in scientific research.It is the assurance of progress in university's development that giving full play to the role of two-way drive function of teaching and scientific research.
