Kang Youwei's thought of the science of li.which was in his early period,originated his early educational experiences,focused on his work entitled 'a summary of education',and honored shou-li as its distinguishing feature.It was not only inherited the practical statecraft tradition of Confucian politics,but also was pregnant with modern reformatory factors,and it became one part of the fundamental conditions and essential preparations of the reformatory ideas in wu-xu period.
