试论秦简牍书与秦小篆的关系

On the Relationship Between Qin Jian Du Shu and Qin Xiao Zhuan

秦简牍书与秦小篆同出一源,但由于笔画与笔式等诸多因素的影响,二者在书法史、文字学史上的地位与作用相距甚远:秦简牍书是汉字演变过程中一个至为关键的环节,它的流变历程直接关系到汉字主流———楷书的形成过程;而小篆更多地是充当探索古文字的一个参照体。

Qin Jian Du Shu(the writing on bamboo slips)and Qin Xiao Zhuan(the lesser seal character)are of the same origin.But influenced by such factors as strokes and styles,the two vary a lot in terms of their positions and functions in the caligraphical and philololical history:the former is a key link in the development of the Chinese character which is directly related to the forma-tion of the mainstream Chinese character-Kai Shu(the regular script);and the latter mainly serves as a reference to probing into ancient Chinese characters.
