1 m Brain computer interface based on event related potentials during imitated natural reading is a fully new mode. The critical part of the new solution is an interface called virtual keyboard which provides stimuli for user′s characters input. The paper introduces and implements the high performance virtual keyboard under Windows. When the virtual keyboard runs, the images in the 36 keys′ windows move smoothly, stably and simultaneously, and the time accuracy is over 1ms and achieves the requirement of the design.
