Probing into Wang Yi in the Yuan Dynasty—the First Book-Appraisal Doctor in Xuan-Wen Pavilion

元代宣文阁共有多位鉴书博士,但王沂却鲜有人关注,其名往往被同为鉴书博士的周伯琦所掩。本文通过钩稽史料,证实王沂不仅是一位精于书画鉴赏的鉴书博士,而且早于周伯琦首任于宣文阁。

There were many book-appraisal doctors in Xuan-Wen Pavilion in the Dynasty, but few people paid attention to Wang Yi. His colleague named Zhou Bo-qi won great renown instead of him. This research paper confirmed through investigation that Wang Yi had not only been a scholar being good at book-drawing-appraisal, but also held the post in Xuan-Wen Pavilion earlier than Zhou Bo-qi.
