前列腺增生合并腹股沟疝的一期手术疗效

Therapeutic effects of one-stage surgical management of BPH with inguinal hernia

目的 探讨前列腺增生并腹股沟疝的一期手术疗效。方法 经尿道行前列腺切除术 ,同时行腹股沟疝修补3 8例。结果 手术效果良好 ,随访半年至 6年 ,未见疝复发及尿失禁和尿道狭窄等并发症。结论 一期进行经尿道前列腺切除术和腹股沟疝修补 ,疗效好 ,可一次性完成手术 。

Objective To explore the one stage surgical treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) with inguinal hernia. Methods Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) and mesh plug repair of inguinal hernia were performed in 38 patients. Results Satisfactory results were achieved in all patients. A follow up from 6 months to 6 years revealed that there were no recurrence of hernia or other complications. Conclusion One stage procedure of TURP and mesh plug repair of inguinal hernia is an efficient surgical method for the treatment of BPH with inguinal hernia and can avoid second operation.
