中英文化意识,表现在习语上因生存环境不同、风俗习惯不同、地理环境不同、历史背景不同等所表达的意义存在着明显的差异。只有在了解和掌握两个民族各不相同的文化渊源的基础上,才能顺利进行习语的翻译。
Cultural differences between China and England make idioms of both nations apparently dissimilar due to different living conditions, customs, geographical features and historical backgrounds. Only when learners have a good mastery of different cultural origins of both nations can they translate the idioms in a proper way.
