Basing on the tolerance of failure theory, this paper focuses on the describing of the basic configuration and working principle of a 2 out of 3 computer system, and analyzes a few key factors affecting its so safety and reliability, and describes the measures to be taken which are capable of improving and upgrading the safety and reliability in the process of its development.
