摘要
该文介绍作者参加的SSC超导主二极磁体的失超实验结果。磁体在4.35K运行温度,3.85K和3.5K下进行了实验.由于磁体内装有多对电压接头,故可详细研究磁体的锻炼效应、失超起始点、失超速度和失超电流与励磁速度的关系.
The quencll performance of SSC collider dipole magnets is presented.The magnets are tested both at the operation temperature of 4.35K and at the temperature down to 3.5K.The magnets are equipped with multiple voltage taps which allow detailed study of quench phenomena.
