Analysis of Unstability Causes of the Distal Extension Removable Partial Dentures

目的 探讨牙列游离缺损可摘局部义齿稳定不良的原因及改进方法措施。方法 通过患者主诉及临床检查,对43例牙列游离缺损患者的可摘局部义齿稳定不良现象的原因和机制进行分析,并探讨了改进措施。结果 牙列游离缺损可摘局部义齿稳定不良的主要原因是设计不当。结论 牙列游离缺损可摘局部义齿设计的正确与否是影响义齿稳定性的决定性因素。

Objective To investigate the unstability causes of the distal extension removable partial denture (RPDs) and the innovation. Methods Through chief complaints of the patients and the clinic examination, we analyzed the causes of the umtability of the distal extension RPDs from 100 patients from 2001 to 2003. Results The main caurse of the unstability of the distal extension RPDs was the unsuitable design. Conclusion The ideal design of the distal extension RPDs is the important factor for effect the stability of RPDs.
