摘要 从几丁质酶的活性、作用底物和生化性质 ,分类和结构 ,表达水平的诱导调节 ,亚细胞定位 ,作用功效 ,以及在植物抗病基因工程的研究与应用等方面 ,综述了植物几丁质酶的研究进展和存在的问题。 The major natural roles for chitinases are defense,primarily against fungal pathogens. Chitinases have been the subjects of intense studies in recent years,and it has now been demonstrated that enhanced chitinase levels in transgenic plants can indeed reduce the damage caused by pathogens. This review covers current research on plant chitinases in the following: the enzyme activities,substrates and biochemical properties; classification and structure; regulation; subcellular localization; roles; and studies for genetically engineering plants with improved disease resistances.
