词汇是组成语言的最基本的单位,没有词汇就无所谓句子,更无所谓语言.词汇教学是英语教学中的重要环节,本文通过对大学英语词汇学习现状的调查,了解到大学阶段,英语词汇量大幅度增加,而学生快速学习、记忆词汇的方法和教师讲授词汇的模式相对陈旧、滞后,缺乏联系性和系统性.针对这一现状,作者提出了教学对策.

Vocabulary is essential in English language teaching and learning. The author conducts a survey on the methods of learning and memorizing English vocabulary. The result shows the methods the students adopt vary from person to person. The students have long suffered from a lack of the guidance in memory techniques. In addition, she visits some English teachers. The result also indicates that the methods that they teach English vocabulary are out of date and lack of the connection and system. In order to improve this situation, she presents some strategies for English vocabulary teaching and learning.
