摘要
意象在中国古代诗学中经历了一个漫长的发展过程而逐渐确立了其重要地位,西方的意象范畴发展较晚而又受到中国古典意象论和中国诗歌的影响,尤其是意象派的诗学主张和诗歌创作与中国古代诗歌的影响密不可分,而意象派的主张又反过来影响了中国新诗的发展。中西意象范畴的双向交流和影响确定了诗歌意象的共同特性,即表象符号化、比兴象征性、模糊多义性和复现传承性,由此显示了意象范畴的诗学价值和文化功能。
The concept of image in ancient Chinese poetics had gone through a long process before it established its important place. By contrast, the category of image in the West came into being later than its Chinese counterpart and it was influenced by Chinese classical imagism and Chinese poetry. In particular, the poetic opinion and production of the imagism was profoundly affected by Chinese poetry. And at the same the poetic opinion of the imagism influenced the development of Chinese new poetry. The bi-directional communication and influence of image category in China and the West determine the same characteristics of the poem image, i.e. the semiotication of ideas, the symbolization of figures, the multivocality of fuzziness, and the successivity of tautology, which shows the poetic value and cultural function of the image category.
