Apply CAT Technology to Distance Education

计算机自适应考试(Compucer Adaptive Test—CAT)技术是传统考试技术的进一步发展,从而使考试智能化,摆脱了传统考试的一些弊端。这里探讨了计算机自适应考试技术的一些知识以及该技术在国内外的应用情况。并对其在网络教育中的应用做了进一步的研究。最后提出了一个简化的计算机自适应考试模型。

Technology of Computer Adaptive Test(CAT)is one of test technologies developing on the base of traditional test technologies, which intelligentizes tests and avoids the disadvantages of traditional tests. This paper discusses technologies of CAT, and introducing some oversea applications with CAT. This paper will farther research of the technology of CAT in distance education and put forward a model at last.
