This article systematically describes the concepts, characteristics and the system composing ofthe tourist environmental bearing capacity. The author of the article, by taking Qinhuangdao as the example, further analyzes the sustainable tourism development by calculational and quantitative analysis of its ecological environmental bearing capacity, its resource environmental bearing capacity, its inhabitant psychological bearing capacity and its domestic economy bearing capacity.
