在现代社会中敌对的对立观念已经成为观察、理解和处理对立物之间关系的最基本的观点。由此在所有形式的社会关系方面逐渐出现了日趋混乱和崩溃的局面 ,人们的社会生活也日益感受到难以承受的不幸和痛苦。所谓敌对的对立观念是指 ,把对立的事物之间的关系理解为相互敌对关系。中国古代的阴阳学说很好地表达了对立的事物之间的对待关系。所谓对待的对立观念是指 ,把相互对立的事物之间的关系理解为相辅相成或相反相成的关系。阴阳学说以“阴”与“阳”来表达了自然、人和社会当中的相互对立的事物之间的相反相成的关系。相互之间的真诚的尊重是建立一切健康的和创造性关系的基础。对待的对立观念能够为改善现代社会中的混乱的和尖锐的各种关系提供新的观念 ,能够为我们的心灵和社会中播种和平和爱的种子提供基础。

In modern society,the antagonistic view of opposition has become the dominant view in observing,understanding and dealing with relationships between oppositions,causing the tendency of more and more of chaotic and collapsing situations in all forms of social relationships,and causing more and more intolerable misfortune and sufferings in social life. The antagonistic view of opposition refers to the understanding of relationship of oppositions as that of hostility. The ancient Chinese doctrine of Yinyang has well expressed the entreaty relationship between oppositions. The entreaty view of opposition refers to the understanding of the relationship between oppositions as that one is a supplement to the other. Mutual respect in sincerity is the basis upon which all healthy and creative relationships be established. The entreaty view of opposition provides a new outlook for the improvement of all social relationships otherwise in chaos and destruction,it also provides a germ for the crop of peace and affection in our souls and in society.
